Cardinal Golf Course is a military course where I learned to play golf. I was
stationed at Fort Lee for six months for advance training during my tour of duty
in the US Army. This is when golf balls were rated by compression strength
and not by how far it will go or how much spin the ball will have. This was an
extremely enjoyable course that I played every afternoon after training. I am
hoping that it has not changed since I played it thirty five years ago.
